The radio ads here in NC are brutal. They make me think of this Paulson/Krenn bit from 24 years ago.

There’s one set of ads here that are irritating the shit out of me. The NRCC bought a bunch of them opposing Morgan Carroll, which is fine... but virtually all of them the only thing they keep repeating about her is how she raised taxes. Of course none of them mention what the taxes are for, just that she had voted to increase them. What they’re actually referring to was how she as a state senator voted to approve a budget that increased from $14B dollars to $25B. (The senate was controlled by Republicans, and it passed by a vote of 31-2, mostly Republicans.) How dare she vote to spend our tax dollars on things like infrastructure and schools? For shame.
And like most Republican ads, they love to throw the word ‘politician’ around as an insult. Psssst, guys... YOUR candidate is a politician. How can you possibly support an avowed ‘politician’? WHY DO YOU HATE AMERICA?

I just want it all to stop. With me, they’ve both won because I’m not voting for the other one. First time in my life that I’ve been eligible to vote and won’t.

The NRCC bought huge ad space on Hulu. Every 10 minutes I get to hear how Brad Schneider is somehow going to bring ISIS to Illinois.
If it weren’t for the fact that Brad actually isn’t a bad candidate, I’d vote for him just to spite those stupid ads.
